The future stages of the Moise House Project are:

  • Bring in fill and hand-pound it down flat inside each room of the house
  • Plumbing and Sewage – dig 20 ft deep hole, put cement blocks up the sides and in the middle to provide support, place PVC pipes
  • Electricity – PVC pipes placed under the floor, later (when we are ready to install electricity) the wiring will be strung through these pipes
  • “Senti” – This is the horizontal iron support system that is placed on top of the rock foundation.  Three iron bars are connected longways to form a triangle shape.  These are connected into the existing metal post to give more strength to the structure.  Boards are placed on the sides and filled in with cement.  This also helps to provide the boarders to hold in the cement when the floor is poured.
  • Floor – Metal rods are connected together in a grid format.  Cement is poured and smoothed out.
  • Walls – Cement blocks are layed and it starts looking like something we can live in.
  • Roof - Several posts hold up plywood and supports.  Metal rods are connected together in a grid format.  Cement blocks are put in the spaces.  PVC pipes are continued to the roof if a second story is desired.
